I am by no way condoning throwing things at the linesman (assistant referee/flagboy/benson/whatever), but it seems these fans hadn't had anything to celebrate for a while - apparently you can't insert Arsenal jokes here anymore because they have Ozil !

And fair play to the fan. It's a great shot. And the linesman didn't roll around on the floor like he'd been shot, he just didn't flag for offside again, but it was worth it.

Just imagine if these fans got to celebrate winning a trophy.

Hitting a small target; Just the tip

Feyenoord were 2-0 up at home to NAC Breda, so why not have a laugh when you're kicking off.

It couldn't have hurt that much, and makes you wonder why a player can miss a penalty if they can hit a target that small.

Should have smashed it at him - no reason really, just would have made me laugh.

Weekend feeling

It's Friday, we're all ready for the weekend, but don't you get that feeling that something's not quite right?

Somehow I feel like I've had my pants pulled down - I think it's the realization that there are only 48 hours to go and enjoy yourself before Monday rolls around.

Why is she running there anyway?

Unless it was raining (like Manchester) or in the monsoon season there is no reason not be running outside anyway. Just because it's hot, or cold, or precious Timmy can't run without AC - running is meant for outdoors. Because this is what happens when you try and run around a football goal.

Just laugh, you know you want to! 

(And yes, I know football should be played outdoors too. On grass. 11 a side.)

Tio Pelotas seems to spend his time trawling the internet for things like this, but who am I to tell a man with the nickname 'Uncle Balls' what to do.

We've all been in this situation - I can remember starting games with less than 11 - and it's a good lesson in why you always check for the paper first, or use the boxers!

So the New York Red Bulls went top of the Eastern Conference with a 3-2 win over Kansas City this weekend, but they should be there with a player like Thierry Henry in their side.

He knows he's better than everyone else in the MLS (even the Deuce), and lauds it over them all! Clap at those minions as they fall over in front of you.

Phil Babb may never have kids

I have no idea if he has kids, or even could, but this is pretty painful whatever his situation

Phil Babb won 35 caps for Ireland, was born in Lambeth, played for Millwall, Liverpool and Sunderland (among others) and, in my opinion, was generally awful everywhere. He's now taken over as Manager of Hayes & Yeading tho, so he's back on my Christmas card list.
