Does Arsene Wenger have to win the FA Cup now?

Yes, I know this is from last year's final!

No one expected Wigan to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup again - and this one was even at the Etihad in front of City's 'faithful' (many of whom were seen leaving with 10 mins left - I hope they missed it when Aguero scored the goal that won the league).

Once the semi-final draw was made, everyone presumed it would be Arsenal v City to basically decide the trophy - a repeat of a small team winning just wasn't possible, was it?

But now it's Arsenal v Wigan and Hull v Sheffield United. No glamour ties, but a huge amount of pressure on Arsene Wenger. Lose to Man City in the semi-final and it's somewhat acceptable. Lose to Wigan or Hull/Sheff United and there could be calls for Wenger to go.

Arsenal haven't won a trophy in a long time (it's all relative, but still a long time for them). The League looks to be gone this year, and I don't see them coming back from 2 down against Bayern Munich.

But the FA Cup is a real trophy - more so than the League Cup - and represents a great chance for Wenger to win something. He hasn't won anything since 2005, so it's about time.

You can't see Arsenal failing to win it from here, but Wigan deserve their shot at defending the trophy, and Hull are playing reasonably well - although no one wants to see Steve Bruce win anything.

No pressure Arsene, but fail again here and there really can't be anymore excuses.

Arsenal v Napoli is the pick - roll that music

Rafa against Arsene should test two great managers, with a win for either taking them pretty close to qualifying for the knock out stages. Two wins from two for either would mean 6 points, and a great chance of getting the 9 or 10 you need to progress.

I'm sure some of you stopped reading when I said Rafa was a great manager. But it's true. Look at the stats. He wins. Yes, he's gone to some clubs where it was already set up for him to win, but Rafa has won trophies across Europe and deserves respect. He's a bit of a prat, but he's a good manager, you can't argue with that.

Arsenal v Napoli should be a fun tie. I don't think either are great defensively, but both have attacking players that could grace any pitch.

Milan v Ajax should be another good tie, but Milan should prove too strong. Ajax unfortunately seem to get purged too often, and although they replenish the talent, they can't quite keep up.

Celtic v Barcelona is big for Celtic. There is noise being made that they have a chance with Messi out, but let's be honest; Xavi, Fabregas, Neymar, Iniesta etc. can handle whatever Celtic have. The crowd and atmosphere will help, but Samaras and Commons are good for a one-off, nothing more.

Porto against Atletico, Dortmund/Marseille and Steaua v Chelsea too - can't wait.

Following the acquisition of Mesut Ozil, it's hard to to accuse Arsene Wenger of being tight with the cash.

It only took 8 years of signings like Gervinho, Park Chu-Young, Sebastian Squillaci and Francis Jeffers to force his hand.

But regardless, no one will remember any of that information after seeing this...
